Introduction to the main anti-aging mechanism:

Polyethylene is a chain-like structural polymer, and during the polymerization process, some 'impurities' are inevitably produced.These impurities, under the influence of various factors such as ultraviolet light, infrared energy, high temperatures, oxygen, and microorganisms, generate free radicals. Many molecular chains are broken by these energies, producing more free radicals, which in turn further initiate the breakage of other molecular chains. This cycle continues, causing the original molecular chains to become increasingly shorter, thereby significantly altering the original physical properties. The tensile strength and elongation at break of the product lose their original characteristics and utility value.

Introduction to anti-aging mechanism:

This masterbatch uses hindered amine light stabilizers that are 2-4 times more effective than general UV absorbers. Unlike typical UV absorbers, it primarily works by converting into oxygen radicals under photooxidative conditions, which then bind with polymer peroxides to eliminate oxidative compounds.

It also captures free radicals generated by photodegradation through various pathways, continuously transferring excited-state energy to inhibit the series of photooxidative degradation reactions, thereby extending the lifespan and enhancing the performance of the product.

 Our company directly supplies anti-aging color masterbatches containing specific amounts of light stabilizers and antioxidants, which absorb, capture, and quench free radicals, protecting the chain structure of polyethylene and achieving anti-aging effects.

These masterbatches are widely used in the production of drip irrigation films and bags.
